The Notebook Challenge is a collaboration of various educational institutions in Kasaragod district operating for the students of Wayanad and Karnataka districts who have lost their study materials due to the floods of 2019. More than 10,000 books, pen, instrument boxes and other study materials with stationaries were distributed to 27 schools.
1462 children in Kasargod, Dakshina Kannada and Kodak districts have been given festive apparel during Ramadan 2018. Abhayam was able to locate eligible people and hand over vouchers directly and choose their preferred clothing from the shops.
Household appliances including gas stoves were handed over to 100 families who lost their homes during the floods.
